Project
Our era is marked by a rapid leap in the improvement and development of technology. One of the most important areas requiring special attention is the traffic control system - in other words "traffic lights" as it forms the core of the system. This system is becoming a vital feature of any smart city. Unfortunately, today traffic is mostly controlled by the old system (tricolor signals), despite the relentless efforts to develop and improve traffic flow. This outgoing technology that epitomizes traditional traffic lights has many problems, including poor time management at intersections, exposure to unpredictable changes in environmental conditions, and the inability to prioritize ambulances. New technologies such as Vehicle Ad Hoc Networks (VANET) and the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) allow vehicles to communicate with those nearby and with dedicated infrastructure wirelessly. We offer our smart traffic management system based on the latest technology, which is suitable for future transport systems and smart cities.
